Location: Our Texas Adventure will take place
at the Utopia on the River Lodge. This facility is located
on the banks of the crystal clear Sabinal River just outside
of the Village of Utopia, Texas, a place time has passed by.
Utopia is about 1.5 hours southwest of the San Antonio International
Airport.
Activities: The
centerpiece of
our time together
will be the study
of God’s
Word regarding
the divine power
of brotherhood.
Other activities
include golf, guys
night at the movies,
story telling,
whittling a legacy
staff out of cedar,
swimming in the
river, along with
several powerful
fireside ceremonies.
Golf will take
place at the Links
of Utopia, a minimalist
9 holer where we
will play nine
holes with Hickory
Shafted
clubs.
Reservations
and fees: We only have room for 24 guys per event.
We have temporarily reserved a block of rooms for you and your
Iron Sharpens Iron partner at Utopia on the River Lodge. On
March 1st (spring) or Sept. 1st (fall) they will be released
to the general public. They only have 12 rooms (two per room)
and this is peak season so first come first serve. Please make
your room reservations asap!
To make reservations
for the conference will require two easy steps. Please complete
both steps so we have you and your partner
signed up with a
room. Please just have one partner take care of this so we
don ’t create confusion.
1. Room
and Board Fee: Call Utopia on the River (830.966.2444)
and make your room reservation by March 1st or Sept 1st. Their
rate is $115 plus tax per night per room. This includes a room
and great breakfast for two guys. We will eat lunch and dinner
at other local spots. Each person will pay for their own meals
at that time.
2. Conference
Fee: Call our conference headquarters, The Full
Armor Group, to sign you and your partner up for the conference
at 866.614.8884. The conference fee is $300 per person (this
does not include room and board) and is due upon signing up.
